In an effort to promote student leadership opportunities and to further promote the development of students at Bellingham Technical College, the Student Council is encouraged and supported by the faculty, staff, administration and Board of Trustees of the College.

The goals of the Student Council are to:
  • Provide a means of self governance for the students of Bellingham Technical College.

  •
  • Promote the educational, cultural and social welfare of the students of BTC.

  •
  • Guarantee an equal opportunity for student participation and representation.

  •
  • Foster cooperation among students, faculty, administration and the community.
